I am a reading helper in a local school and have been given a box of Squiffing Story Tiles to use. Unfortunately, there are no instructions. Are you able to supply me with a copy? Or an indication of how to play? Many thanks.
Hi, I also have this game but the instructions seem to be missing. Anyone have them and could post a picture of them on here please? Thanks
Rules for ‘Squiffing Story Tiles Game’ please !!
Thank you **
Hi could I also get instructions on how to play the game please
Squiffing story Tiles game – no instructions.
Thank you.
I don’t have any instructions either. Are there supposed to be any?
The dealer gives out four tiles to each player and says one day….the player to the left of the dealer tells a story by referring to the illustration on one of their tiles. Look at the tiles and choose the one you want to inspire the story when it’s your go. This is repeated until everyone has used all their tiles.
please let me have the rules of how to play this game. My box came without instructions.
I would love a copy of the instructions. How does it go?
Squiffing game
Use your imagination to link the tiles in the most creative way possible!
Ways you can play with friends
1. The dealer gives out four tiles to each player and says “One day…..”. The player to the left of the dealer tells a story about the illustration on one of their tiles. The next player adds to the story by referring to the illustration on one of their tiles. Look at the tiles and use the tile you want to inspire the story when it’s your go. This is repeated until everyone has used all their tiles. No tile may be repeated. Once you’ve used your tile, make sure you discard it.
2. Give out four tiles to each player with the illustrations face down. Take turns turning over a tile to use as inspiration for the story.
3. Share out all of the tiles or lay them face down on a table or floor and when it’s your turn, choose a tile and turn it over
You can also play the game on your own – just choose whether you use four tiles, ten tiles or the whole set of forty tiles to keep the story going.
See if you can make up different ways to play either on your own or with friends! Whichever way you play, let your imagination run wild and see what wicked new words, colourful characters and playful plots you can create. Storytelling has never been such fun!
