“O Death, Where Is Thy Sting-a-Ling-a-Ling?” This is the title of the first original film ever to be done by horror writer Roald Dahl— and perhaps there’s a moral in its flip title. Dahl is the husband of gallant actress Patricia Neal, who recently survived three massive strokes and several weeks in a coma before giving birth to a healthy girl. Having faced down death, the Dahls have a right to be flip about the Grim Reaper, hence the jocular title.
